EARLIER START TIME TO MATCH SCHEDULE IN VIETNAM OPEN
Each day’s play in the USD$380,000 Vietnam Open ATP Tennis Tournament will begin from 1 p.m. instead of noon from Wednesday, September 28. The main event in the tournament began on September 26 and will end on October 2 at the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City.
The later start will mean that there will be no interval between the afternoon session of matches and the evening’s schedule which commences at 7.p.m. Piror to the change there was an intermission of varying duration.
“From Wednesday it will be a continuous session from one in the afternoon until the last match on the daily schedule is over,” said Tournament Director Amit Noar.
